A deeper clean when standard cleaning is not enough

House Clean Pro provides detailed deep cleaning for properties that need more time, attention and cleaning intensity than a routine maintenance clean. Our deep cleaning service is suitable for one-off refreshes, neglected areas, built-up dirt and grease, properties preparing for new occupants, seasonal cleaning and homes that need a more comprehensive reset.

Every property is different. The level of cleaning required depends on its size, condition, number of rooms and the areas that need attention. We therefore offer different levels of deep cleaning, from a lighter detailed refresh through to heavy-duty cleaning for substantially more demanding conditions.

Choose the right level of deep cleaning

Light deep clean

A light deep clean is suitable where the property is generally maintained but needs more detailed attention than a standard regular clean. It can be useful before guests arrive, after a busy period, as a seasonal refresh or when kitchens, bathrooms and other high-use areas need additional attention.

Full deep clean

A full deep clean is designed for properties requiring detailed cleaning across multiple rooms. It focuses on built-up dirt, grease, limescale, dust and areas that may not receive detailed attention during routine housekeeping. The cleaning plan can be prioritised around kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces and other agreed areas.

Heavy-duty deep cleaning

Heavy-duty cleaning is for properties with substantial build-up, prolonged lack of cleaning, significant grease or grime, extensive soiling or other conditions that require considerably more labour and preparation than an ordinary deep clean. These jobs are assessed individually so the appropriate number of cleaners, time and cleaning approach can be allocated.

What can be included in a deep clean?

The exact scope is agreed according to the property and the level of cleaning required. A deep clean can include detailed attention to:

• Kitchens - worktops, sinks, splashbacks, hob areas, accessible external appliance surfaces, cupboard exteriors, grease and build-up on suitable surfaces.
• Bathrooms and toilets - showers, baths, sinks, toilets, tiles, mirrors, fittings and detailed attention to limescale and soap residue.
• Bedrooms and living spaces - detailed dusting, accessible surfaces, skirting areas, vacuuming and floor cleaning.
• Doors, frames, switches and touchpoints - detailed wiping where appropriate and accessible.
• Hallways, stairs and common areas - detailed vacuuming, floor cleaning, dust removal and attention to frequently used surfaces.
• Internal cupboards or drawers - where specifically requested and included in the agreed scope.
• Additional priority areas - other accessible areas agreed before the clean according to the condition of the property.

Specialist services such as carpet cleaning and oven cleaning can also be added where required.

Heavy-duty and specialist cleaning

Some properties require a level of cleaning beyond an ordinary deep clean. This may include severe accumulated dirt, extensive waste, significant contamination or conditions where additional protective equipment and specialist working procedures are required.

Where bodily fluids, human or animal waste, potentially infectious material or other biological contamination is present, the work may fall under biohazard cleaning or specialist bodily-fluid and waste cleaning. These situations require separate assessment because enhanced personal protective equipment, contamination-control procedures and appropriate waste handling may be necessary.

Customers should tell us about any known contamination or hazardous conditions when requesting a quote. This helps us assess the work correctly and determine whether the property falls within the appropriate specialist-cleaning scope.

Deep cleaning for move-ins, move-outs and property refreshes

Deep cleaning can be useful before moving into a property, after a property has been left unused, before presenting a home for sale or letting, or whenever a detailed one-off refresh is required. If the clean is specifically connected with the end of a tenancy or formal property handover, our dedicated End of Tenancy Cleaning service may be more appropriate.

Deep cleaning after decorating or light refurbishment

Where decorating, painting or minor refurbishment has created additional dust and residue, a deep clean may help return the property to a clean and usable condition. Larger building, renovation or construction projects should use our dedicated After Builders & Post-Renovation Cleaning service.

Carpet cleaning can be booked as a standalone service or added to a deep clean where carpets need more than routine vacuuming. Dedicated oven cleaning can also be added where the oven requires detailed attention beyond standard kitchen cleaning.

For larger deep cleans, heavy-duty cleaning, specialist cleaning and other substantial one-off projects, we also cover wider operating regions including Colchester and Nottingham. Larger jobs outside our core regular-cleaning areas can be assessed individually according to the property, scope and cleaning requirements.

Same-day and urgent deep cleaning

Same-day and emergency deep cleaning can be requested when a property needs urgent attention. This may include last-minute move-in preparation, unexpected property handovers, urgent landlord requirements or other situations where a detailed cleaner is needed at short notice.

How to request a deep clean

Because deep-cleaning requirements vary considerably between properties, deep cleans are handled through a quotation rather than the standard recurring-cleaning booking route. Provide the property type, number of rooms, postcode, preferred date and a description of the condition. Photos or a short video walkthrough are particularly useful for full and heavy-duty deep cleans.
